The Thomas J. Brown was built by Gladden-Hearn in 1962. She is a single screw tug in prestine condition. Powered by a Caterpillar 398 T,A, rated at about 1000 horsepower. "The Thomas" is 63 feet in length, 18 feet wide, and draws 9 feet. She is an extremeley handy boat for many applications. "The Thomas is rated at 71 gross tons and 42 net tons.

The Joyce D. Brown formerly known as the John P. Brown was built by A&B Industries in 2003. She is powered by twin Caterpillar 3512B marine engines rated at a total 2600 horsepower. At 78 feet long, 26 feet wide, and a draft of 10 feet, this tug is great for most jobs big or small. The Joyce D. Brown is rated at 142 gross tons and 114 net tons.
